About MBAs4NYC

MBAs4NYC is a nonprofit consulting organization that unites the expertise of caring business professionals with small businesses in the lower Manhattan area that have been adversely affected by the September 11, 2001 tragedy. Co-founded by Rob Steir and Colleen Galvin, MBAs4NYC was established in August 2002 with a grant from the Empire State Development Corporation and the US Housing and Urban Development Agency (HUD). MBAs4NYC is a unique volunteer-driven organization providing pro-bono consulting services to lower Manhattan small businesses striving to regain their pre September 11th levels of profitability. We offer eligible companies a range of services to address specific needs such as:

      • Increasing revenue
      • Improving operations & cutting costs
      • Creating new products & sales channels
      • Developing business & marketing plans

These projects range from 20-100 hours of donated volunteer time and can last one to six months in duration.
